Complete Dentures

A complete denture, or full denture, is a removable full-coverage oral prosthetic device that replaces all of your missing teeth in either the upper or lower arch (or both).

We use high strength acrylic teeth, bonded to a heat-cured acrylic base. For patients with a history of breaking full dentures, a metal mesh can be inserted into the denture for extra strength.

You will be able to select from a wide variety of tooth size, shape and colour. We use advanced manufacturing techniques to match the teeth on your denture to your facial feature, right down to your natural contouring and shade of gum tissue. The result is a natural looking denture that is incredibly lifelike and makes you eat, speak and smile with confidence.

Partial Denture

A partial denture is removable and is supported by your natural teeth and gums. It is held in place with special retainer or clasps to keep it secure. A partial retainer is custom designed for function and normality.

We offer four styles of partial denture, including Acrylic, Cobalt-Chrome (CoCr), Clear clasp, and Thermosens/Flexible.

  • Acrylic – denture teeth are bonded to an acrylic base. Wrought wire clasps are often used to hold the denture in place.

  • Cobalt-Chrome – CoCr partial dentures are thinner, smaller, and lighter, but stronger than acrylic dentures. Because the Chrome partial dentures use cast anchorage elements, they provide better retention.

  • Clear Clasps – Clear or tooth-coloured clasps are used. They are the good choices if you’d prefer not show metal on your front teeth.

Implant over Dentures

An implant over denture is used when a person doesn’t have any teeth in the jaw, but has enough bone in the jaw to support implants. The denture has special attachments that snaps onto attachments on the implants. Implant over dentures are often made for the lower jaw because the conventional lower dentures are more likely to have less retention and poor stability.

Implant over dentures help preserve your jaw bone by slowing or even stopping the bone resorption that is common in edentulous patients. They secure your teeth in your mouth, improve the aesthetics of your smile, improve chewing functions, improve speech and have a positive impact on your physical and psychological heath.

Custom-made Mouthguards

Mouthguards are often used to protect your teeth, jaw, and head when playing physical sports. The basic type of mouthguard you can usually get from a supermarket or a pharmacy. This option is affordable, and quick, but they often don’t fit very well and can make it difficult to talk and breathe and may not actually protect your teeth as required.

Custom-made mouthguards are the best way to protect you from teeth and jaw injuries while training for or playing your favourite sports. As they are fabricated with a mould from your teeth, they are the best fitting and therefore offer the best protection. There are range of colours available.

To maintain your mouthguards, rinsing in cold water after each use and store them in a plastic container, or to keep them in a cool dry place.

Children’s mouthguards are recommended to be replaced once a year, even if they appear to be in good condition. This is because their mouth is still growing, and new teeth can affect their fit.

WHAT WE OFFER

 Thermosens/Flexible dentures

Thermosens/Flexible dentures are the innovative, virtually unbreakable, virtually no shrinkage, and monomer (chemical) free dentures. They are ideal for patients unwilling or unable to accept dentures made from materials that could result in allergic reactions, or other sensitivity problems. They are suitable for both complete and partial dentures.

Immediate Dentures

An immediate denture is a complete or partial denture that is made in advance and fitted immediately after your natural tooth/teeth are extracted. It prevents the inconvenience or embarrassment of being without teeth. It is often a temporary solution that allows you to eat and speak as normal while waiting for your gums to heal. Once your gums and bone are healed after a few months, a more permanent denture reline is required to restore the fit of the dentures.

Same day Tooth Addition, Denture Repairs

and Relines

  • Tooth addition – if you already have a denture in place and a new tooth gets extracted, we can add a new tooth in your already existing denture in place of the newly extracted one.

  • Denture repairs – you will need denture repairs if there is a crack or chip of your denture base or tooth. We can help you restore the fit for your broken dentures.

  • Denture relines – denture relining is a process of adding new base material to the tissue side of a denture so that it can fit properly. As your gums can change a lot due to teeth extractions, old age, weight changes, or a medical condition, it is often used to correct loose or ill-fitting dentures. Bear in mind that relining will only restore the fit of your denture, not its appearance.

Bleaching Trays

We can provide you with bleaching trays that will enable you to maintain the whiteness of your teeth and brightness of your smile.
